Frosting
So I found a frosting recipe that's one part coconut oil and two parts agave nectar with a some vanilla to taste. I thought it was super sweet but good. I then found out that Agave is extremely high in fructose, which is just not good for anyone in large amounts. So I tried the same recipe with Brown Rice Syrup to replace the Agave. I liked it a lot better. It wasn't overwhelming sweet but still enjoyable. I liked to put it on my brown rice cakes. Well, as I was just writing out the list of my allergies in the previous post, I realized that I'm allergic to Brown Rice Syrup. Just my luck. Who would have thought it'd be so hard to find a good sweetener to bake with? I've heard Stevia is the best sweetener around but I don't know how it works with baking. If you have any experience with Stevia, please share.
